KUI is affiliated with Victory Inner-City Ministries (vicm.org).

KUI offers urban ministry training courses to be used as an urban ministry track in colleges.

College credit for KUI courses is available from Hobe Sound Bible College, God's Bible School & College, Union Bible College, Allegheny Wesleyan Bible College, Penn View Bible Institute, and Lael College.

Dr. Stephen Gibson, director of the institute, pastors Victory Chapel after 18 years as instructor at several schools and colleges, including Kiev Wesley Bible College, in Ukraine.  He is director of Holiness Pilgrim Mission, with ministries in Ukraine, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic.
